pagan art journaling {week 25}

This week’s prompt: Charity

What does charity mean to you on your path?

How do you define it?

How important is it?

For me, charity on an international level has always been an easier act than practicing charity locally, which is something I’m working on improving in my life. Be it with the panhandler on the street or the friend in need, or even the act of accepting someone for who (s )he is, I’m trying to remember to live my life with more loving kindness and intentional acts of benevolence (which sort of sounds egotistic but is really just meant to be taken in the best way possible). I still have a very long way to go, but I’m working on it!

  1. What a beautiful page. I would love to learn how to make a journal. I haven't tried it yet !!!

  2. You really make great artwork. I love them.

    My past two week's digital art:

  3. Charity is a great topic. I have felt the nudges lately and have started to respond. As a song says "When you help others, You can’t help helping yourself!" Blessed be.

  4. great topic, being a member of a big bike club we do a lot of work for charity. I shall enjoy doing this prompt. Hugs Sara

  5. @Moncha, journaling can be daunting when you start but worth it once you plunge in. It takes a bit of time to find your way, but if you just think about it as a place to doodle and try things out, it makes it a lot less daunting. I only started art journaling about 1.5 years ago and it's been a crazy, fun ride ever since. I've learned a lot in that time!

    @Halie, thanks (blush). I'm off to visit your link as soon as I finish responding!

    @Robert, like you, charity has started to become a rather persistent nudge in my life. I don't know that when I started out I really thought about it as much as I do now.

    @Sara, that's great! I'll be sure to see what you do with the prompt. I love hearing about the amazing things others do make their part of the world a better place!!!

Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment. Please know that I read each and every comment, and strive to respond to them all, as time allows!
