pagan art journaling {week 32}

this week's prompt: inspiration

There's just something about a rainy day for me. Maybe it's because I'm a wet west coaster, but rain is soothing and makes me think. I love it. My best ideas come to me on quiet, rainy days.

There are lots of things that inspire me, but rainy days in the fall are my favourite. They make me stop and think and ground myself again.

What about you? What inspires you creatively and spiritually?

  2. I'm inspired by teaching bellydance. It's especially fun when I teach kids. They're so curious and adventurous about everything that it makes me want to push the limits of what I can learn and teach. Plus, it's really fun to balance my practice sword on a kids' heads and watch them get so excited when they do it. :) (Worry not. The sword is blunted and could only hurt if I weren't there as a support and it fell on the kid's foot. But someday I'll get one that really could lob off a toe if dropped. That one won't go near anyone's head but mine. :P)

  3. Thanks.

    @The Blue Faerie: I know what you mean about the teaching. I love how inspiring teaching can be when you find just the right mix for a student to grow and learn something new. It's an amazing gift to witness.
